Project Overview

The four storey mental health care unit brought particular design requirements due to the buildings end user.

The steel frame masonry clad building is constructed in an Environment Agency designated flood plain which imposed particular design restrictions up to ground floor level. Ground conditions required a piled and reinforced ground beam foundation approach whilst the above ground construction method had to facilitate a short onsite presence.
