New Queenshill Court comprised forty-six 2-bed and sixteen 1-bed flats built around an enclosed courtyard.
The development was the focus study of a WRAP assessment which required detailed coordination by the design team from concept stage with the view to minimise construction material use.
The phasing of work allowed the client to keep open their existing housing stock while the new units were constructed.
SUD’s and environmental impact were drivers that dictated the use of sedum roofs, photovoltaics, minimal water demand and an airtight construction to provide a very high quality care home for the user.
