Andy Walker

My engineering experience began by starting on the drawing board as an Engineering Technician, before progressing to University to study and work and later becoming a Chartered Engineer. This experience helps me to really appreciate client delivery in relation to what is required in the design and detailing process and how to meet a realistic programme.

I’m a very good team worker, performing well under pressure and forging strong working relationships with my clients and my colleagues. I also perform well when working individually and my presentation skills are a strong point. Regarding projects, I have provided Civil and Structural Engineering design services to many clients in the residential, commercial, retail, energy, education and aviation sectors with many repeat clients who also provide recommendations to new clients.

I have grown Dudleys Consulting Engineers since 2009 into a stable, experienced and valued team of nearly thirty brilliant Engineers and Technicians with great Admin support, operating profitably from our Leeds and Manchester bases. Whilst growing the business, maintaining the systems that support its growth, I have still managed to be involved in day-to-day projects to ensure my Engineering skills remain up to date but only because of the support of a great team! As founding owner and director of Dudleys, I have a very personal interest to make sure that what we promise as a company is delivered, even exceeded!
