Parsons Cross was the first phase of a larger sheltered housing residential development to the north of Sheffield, these units setting the standard that the rest of the estate was to follow!
South Yorkshire Housing Association and their Architect wanted to develop some landmark residential units to this area of north Sheffield.
In principle this was to take the whole first floor and rotate it through ninety degrees! This led to some interesting design issues with consideration to client budget, CDM risks and achieving architectural merit.
