Stonedale Construction x Dudleys Apprentices & Graduates

We would like to say a big thanks to Stonedale Construction Ltd for taking time out of their day to host a group of our Apprentice and Graduate Engineers.

We started with a meeting in their offices, running through how a main contractor approaches a project. This led to discussion around the typical challenges they face (noting which of these we can assist with!) and a case study on one of their more technically challenging projects. The informal approach helped generate lots of thoughtful questions along the way.

This was followed by a visit to site and opportunity to see the realtity of various early stage works in progress.

It was clear to see how this helped build general awareness of our more junior team members, with key takeaways being emphasis on:

• Clarity & accuracy of information presented on drawings
• The reality of commercial pressures & programme implications
