Trafalgar Street car park was originally constructed in the 1920s and used for manufacturing of Swordfish aircraft for the Second World War.
The building was extended in the 1960s and in recent years had fallen into disrepair. A detailed structural survey with concrete testing revealed that the frame was in reasonable condition and could be economically repaired whilst keeping the car park open.
Works have comprised concrete repairs, fitting new louvers and modernising the kiosk to create an attractive secure location to park whilst either shopping or visiting the nearby Leeds Arena.
